Star Wars should've stopped before they made 1, 2, and 3.
Harry Potter was pretty much expected to have sequels and obviously it had a good basis to work with for making the movies. And Toy Story is Pixar.
I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

Nah, George Lucas wanted the movies to end up like that.
The franchise was a success and there isn't any talk of sequels, JJ.

No I mean like he started with one and he made sequels and prequels. So it was successful

Bam this is correct.
Anyways, sequels can be ok, but usually they seem like a blatant way to make some more money by taking a successful movie and "stretching" it a bit further (which usually they are). And often they just don't fit with the original or tie back to it well, which ruins your perspective of the movie and become biased against it.

There were four movies of the Shrek series.
I like the first one the best, but the others are ok.
Also, I think they like the first best because the others can be boring cause it uses the same plot sometimes.

This only happens when people milk "cows" (series(es?) ) past when they're due. Toy story NEEDED a sequel. Star wars, on the other hand DIDN'T need the prequels. Profit over quality is the thinking process in many major movie studios.

but episode 1, 2 and 3 (the prequel thingies) are HORRIBLE.
