I've heard there are plans to special release them in 3d for a little bit in theaters. Also planning the 3D thing for Titanic.
But, no, new movies would stink just as much as well . . . the new movies. The problem is they really can't touch the original trilogy now because none of the actors look the same and I'm not sure but some probably died by now.

But I hardly consider Star Wars Episode 2: Watch Anakin and Padme Make Out a 5 star movie.

No. Just no. It would ruin the franchise. George Lucas did what was planned. Go out with a bang and still let it rest in everyone's minds. Don't make another.

I think it was Brian Regan but there was some comedian like:
Imagine you're in like 1993 and you see George Lucas and he's like, so you're a fan? Well guess what, the new one has Darth Vader! "Aw cool! Does he like kill people with a cool mask?" No he's a little kid and he leaves his mom and gets sad, but in the second one, there's Boba Fett! "Aw cool is he like a bounty hunter who kills stuff still?" No he's a little kid who's dad dies and he gets sad.

But, Star Wars has a definite end, there's a resolution. Story arcs don't continue after a resolution. Or shouldn't, at any rate.

Nothing can touch the first three, and by that I mean the last three in the six movies story wise but the first three to be made.
The prequels sucked.
