On July 12th, Neptune completed its first orbit around the sun since being discovered in 1846. 165 years and its finally gone around the sun a whopping one times!
Leave your birthday wishes for Neptune here; I'm sure he's reading them. After all, everyone is on the internet these days.

Happy Birthday to You
You were born in space too
When we discovered you
You were epic then too.

Can one topic go without nerding out about Pokemon.
But, Happy Birthday Neptune. Keep an eye on the ocean for us.

I don't think that would be its birthday, just its first rotation since it was discovered (not when it was created)

Would a more fitting title be "Anniversary of Discovery" or something like that?

Not really since it's been more than a year since it was discovered.
Imagine this: I'm on a trip around the world and I meet some other person who I've never seen before. I go around the world in a few weeks and meet back with them at the same point and they say Happy Birthday to me. Now imagine my name is Neptune and the world is Neptune's orbit
