I was making my new RPG when I realized I needed to add some more things to the description. Unfortunately, it wouldn't let me say it. I had to go back and search through everything and I couldn't find any inappropriate words. I had to take out all of my new additions and re-add them one by one until i found it. The word was "H-o-a-r-d." As in the pile of gold and jewels that dragons have in their lairs. For some reason, its innapropriate. This is not an inappropiate word and it made me waste time and made me very grumpy. So please tell me why this isn't allowed, and if it is, try to fix it.
Thanks!

It's blocked because it contains an innapropriate word. Just like "grapes."

That is quite weird... there's no reason anything in "hoard" should be on the filter.
Edit: After experimenting I've found the "hoar" part being censored, but that makes no sense. Look at the definition:
hoar |hôr| archaic poetic/literary
adj.
grayish white; gray or gray-haired with age.
n.
hoarfrost.
Who decides to censor these things?

It's a common misspelling of a word that means a prostitute, that is often used as an insult. That said, there are a bunch of issues with the censor used on the main site.

Hoar is kind of a pun of a bad word...
I'm well aware of that, I'm wondering why they bothered censoring an innocent word that sounds like something else. Plus, I've never seen that word used like that in the first place.

That's a boar. Paddle is talking about a different word. To be honest though, censoring an obscure misspelling of an inappropriate word seems a bit excessive to me.

Yeah, what if they are really talking about something different?

Well, the misspelling is not as obscure than you may think.
[Of course, on another note: The word can also refer to something that's white, or it can also be a reference to frost.

It is really excessive.

It really depends on the context you use it in. I think lizacfuzz is right about the containing a bad word.

Try adding HTML in the middle of the word.

Well, it only filtered it because you separated it with BBCode from the rest of the word.

Yeah. You''l just have to take our word for it when we say that it's not what you think.
