YO
I was wondering if you can copy and paste a sprite into another document
that isn't scratch. I don't want any like scripts or anything just the drawing
that I did. If i copy and paste it in the main screen it just duplicates the sprite.
I tried exporting it and then pasting it but then it just opens a new scratch
thing and blah not what I want. just wondering if thats possible!
THANKS

Click on the sprite then click costumes. Right click on the costume you want to export. Select "export" and then choose the directory where you want to put the costume's image. You will see that the costume gets exported as an image (GIF).

poop!! i went in and did what you said... but it doesn't do anything when you right click. I held it, and i went fast and medium, double clicked... but no like menu or whatever came up. So I clicked the edit button and right clicked around on that... but nothing. And I right clicked on the little sprite image in the little sprite area where it shows a thumbnail of all the sprites and stuff... but still nothing.
Maybe im right-click handicapped.

Maybe. I don't use a Mac but I think the equivalent of right click on a Mac is Ctrly + mouse click. I hope someone with a mac can answer that. http://homepage.mac.com/geerlingguy/mac_support/mac_help/pages/0024-right_click.html

Go to the costumes tab, select the costume you want, then ctrl-click the mouse.
The popup menu has two options: one for turning into a new sprite, the other for exporting the costume. The costume *is* exported as .gif file.
