I don't play it. From what I've seen when my dad plays, it has pretty much 3 downloads per game, all taking at least an hour a piece, it plays not very good games, and it just got shut down for a while. Pretty much all its good for me is a Blu-Ray player. Discuss.

Well, some of the games for it are AMAZING
Try it again with LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2, Uncharted 2 (Uncharted 3 when it comes out) and the Infamous series
Then you might your mind C: Other than that, I truly do get what you're saying xD It took FOREVER for LittleBigPlanet to finally update after not playing it for a month

Didn't look that interesting to me either. The only game that legitimately interests me that isn't on another system or PC is LittleBigPlanet 1/2, and 1 game is not a system seller for me.
I like the hardware though. Just not the software.

I bought it two weeks ago with my own money after doing tons of oddjobs for a year (and I don't get alowance.) So far it was worth it. I got LittleBigPlanet 2 and because of the welcome back package I downloaded LittleBigPlanet and inFamous for free. I also just got the Uncharted 3 Beta and it is pretty cool. The graphics on it are just amazing.

I do not own a Playstation myself, but most of the people I've talked to praised it. When the network was shut down, that was caused by some hackers trying to get Credit Card information. Supposedly the hackers might have stollen information. Most likely they did, but they didn't steal tons of numbers. If you just plan on using one for a Blu-Ray player, don't get it they are good for that, but not worth it if you won't use it for games.

They stole the names and passwords of thousands, having access to their credit card info.

Not true. Most games do not require many (meaning no) downloads. Also, there are some fun games, which can either be discs (like Lord of the Rings Conquest) or downloads from the PSN (Play Station Network). Oh, and this is the PS3. The PS1 has graphics that are hardly acceptable in the 21st century, but the PS2 is fine. Actually pretty good. But it doesn't have any online mode, so that means no PSN and no multiplayer unless you're using split-screen and two remotes. Not to mention that the PS2 has some pretty good games (including every game in the Final Fantasy series except the ones with unbearable graphics and the newest one or two- and the Kingdom Hearts games, which might just be the best video games in history).

No. It got hacked. Some games have downloads. So?
Stop making the PS seem like a burden.

I have 26 PS3 games some of which I admit are not worth paying the full price for, that's why I got them for half price used at Gamestop
The good games are amazing and that's the majority of them. I know you're gonna hate on me for this- I don't like LBP much

True, some games are cool. I've seen LittleBigPlanet and Uncharted and they're cool. I guess Nintendo and Microsoft just have games that appeal more to me

Why are kids on Scratch playing such violent games? Infamous? Really?
P.S. I have no problem with LittleBigPlanet. I think it's cool!
