My new game, Perfect Platformer v.4

Perfect Platformer is a scrolling platformer game where you can move around, jump over lava and fire, and swim through water, trying to get to the end goal which is a black and purple vortex. What makes my platformer different from others is that the game is alligned on a grid and features a built in level editor.

The way my game works is all the different types of square terrain featured in the game are stored in one list, each as a different item. 9 sprites assemble the area of the level which you are in, and the arrow keys let you move around the area. Because the terrain is determined by the characters in the list, you can edit the items in the list to change the terrain. This makes my game unique, and I believe, the most advanced platform game on scratch.

With that said, please try out my game. Instructions and link are below.

Does not work very well online, please download.

Instructions: Use the arrow keys to move and the space bar to jump. If your in water, you can move in any direction you want with the arrow keys. If you are on the surface of the water, you can jump out by using the space bar. Be warned! touching lava/fire will result in death and staying underwater for more than 15 seconds will also.

To use the level editor:
press 0 three times quickly to activate. Use the arrow keys to move the level and the mouse to select and place terrain. You can also change the start/end points with the buttons at the bottom of the screen. When you are ready to play your level, press 1

The game will be updated so check my page for the latest versions, and if you have any suggestions for what I should put in it, comment on one of the versions or on this forum.

My hope for this game is to introduce a new way to create scrolling games, and if the game becomes popular, to have many people remix it with their own levels built into the project.

This will mostlikely be my last game on Sratch, so don't forget to show your appreciation
