Curses to the Variable!

OK, I'm making a Battleship game, and I'm at the part where you set the ships, and I have a variable callled "self in area?". My problem is that it works in ordinary mode, but doesn't change the variable in presentation mode. Any ideas?

A link to the project would be helpful...then we could run the project directly and maybe see the problem for ourselves.

Re: Curses to the Variable!

I see no obvious solution. Some projects are just that way.

And this might fit better in "All About Scratch", though not such a bad case...
