Scratch is doing weird things...

Hello. I downloaded Scratch on a laptop and it's doing weird things. I can't export anything, and it won't pick up sound on my microphone. I can upload projects, but I can't export. Does anyone know why Scratch is doing this?

Did you make sure to download for the right OS?

the mike problem is usual. there isn't a mike built into you pc, right? if you wan't to record sound, i advise getting a mike and a program to record. the recording is fuzzy on my computer.
