Me and a friend are working on a project in UDk, it will be pokemon in first person. and for battles it will no longer be turn-based. you control that pokemon in a battle. everything will be real-time with a day and night cycle. Thoughts, ideas, suggestions? please put em here. We arent planning this to become a major thing and we are still in the thinking and learning process.

Sounds really awesome! Especially with the real-time strategy,and day and night cycle! Maybe you could make it that more powerful and rarer pokemon appear at night? And certain things can only happen day or night? Like night gym battles aswell as day ones?

Hadn't thought of that! thanks! we also going to make destroy able environment so say you shoot a hyper beam and hit a window. it will shatter the window but of course once the battle is over everything will be back to normal. this will make the fighting more strategic, interactive, and fun than click words.

Sounds cool! How about in battle, there is a menu that you can use to use a skill, like in Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy XII (12). Oh, and maybe Pokémon can hold items including weapons which act as another move- melee weapons like swords ∞ PP; ranged weapons like crossbows having as many PP as ammo bought. I can't wait for it to come out! I would probably need Unity to make that, not Scratch!

For all that want to help we need people to make 3D models of pokemon. or just make up a pokemon and make a 3D model of it. Theres a good chance it will be used and maybe you will be a character in the game ranging from simple citizen to mayor to gym leader.

UDK!!! I looked into UDK, but when I asked a friend to get his mom to look at the Terms of Service (his mom is a lawyer) he never got around to it. How is it?

the program is great and easy to use. its very user-friendly and easy to script
