Someone has 'remixed' my project and shared it having changed nothing?! Only the timer is written in chinese or something. Is this alowwed? I feel like s/he is taking credit for what I have done?!
This is my original project: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Sphingo/1898153

Hmm, you're right. I saw one in the "More Projects by mrheihei" list a thumbnail that looks exactly like mine... because I just got ripped off too.
I'm going to run the remix comparer.

Whats a remix comparer?! I also found this on the frequenttly asked questions:
What if someone copies a project without changing anything?
It is disrespectful to upload a project that was created entirely by someone else. If you see such a project, please flag it as inappropriate and include a link to the original project with your explanation.
Should I do this?! It seems over the top but also necessary?! :S

This is the remix comparator.
It reports that the projects are exactly the same, so yes, you should flag it.

What's...
Project ID
Project Version
The ID is the number at the end of the URL.
For example: 1,000,000; 2,000,000; 1337, etc.
The version is what version: the first time it is uploaded, it's version 1. If you update it, it becomes version 2, etc.

Unfortunately, the comparator has some issues...it often reports images as changed when they actually haven't been. It seems to be related to image compression. So a visual comparison is often more accurate.
If you feel that the project is an exact copy, or that credit is being inappropriately claimed, you should flag the project as inappropriate and it will be reviewed by the Scratch Team.

The project does state "based on ... (your project)". I think it's silly to download a project and then upload it unchanged - but anyone who's interested could click the link to see your project. I've seen this done with a few of my projects - I go to look at a remix to see what changes or cool additions someone has come up with and find; No changes! But I don't get upset about this at all - I figure they are just giving my projects (which I think are great) more exposure, and someone my decide to look at my other stuff after seeing the 'remix'.
I wonder if some new scratchers do this because they haven't figured out how to use "favorites"???
