The Channel Chasers Movie is not exactly more canon to the main storyline than the episodes. In one episode, Timmy becomes a 40 year old and when he acts like a kid, his Godparents can grant his wishes.

So there is gonna be a new Fairly Oddparents movie using real people. I believe it is called 'Growing Up Timmy Turner', and appariently Timmy is 23 years old, and still in the 5th grade. Which doesn't make any sense because in 'Channel Chasers' When Timmy grows himself up using the magic remote, he loses his memory of Cosmo and Wanda at the age of, I think 18.
So, what's your thoughts on this?
First of all, I am really annoyed at people making everything live action now. Not saying that cartoons will disappear forever, but it's starting to get ridiculous! Although I do like a lot of live action children's shows, I do believe there's a bit too much. Gone are the days of 100% cartoon. Even Cartoon Network, despite their name, is going live action in some cases.
Fairly Odd Parents is one of those classic, Nickelodeon toons that shouldn't be messed with. For heaven's sake, Nick, just leave it alone! Anyways, from what I've seen so far, the new movie looks pretty stupid.
At least Phineas and Ferb is having an animated movie in August. I look forward to that, but the Fairly Odd Parents Movie really disobeys the original script and plot of the cartoon series that started it all. Meh...I'll skip it.

Any movies that were originally cartoons (made into live action) usually fail. You get to accustomed to seeing animated characters, and seeing them as real people is just weird...

ThIs movie will ruin the storyline. I love timmy turner and poof but making it into a rl movie
+ animated faires
fail! u learn that cartoon and animations fail when combined from blu`s clues when u were little. I am still gonna watch it to see how it is. ill probably laugh in pity. Next thing you know theyre gonna make a rl spongebob movie where someone adopts spongebob and patrick and blahblahblah! I rather they make a fish hooks movie!

I watched it, and it was okay. The plot wasn't stupid, and the ending is pretty cool.
If you really like(d) Fairly Oddparents then I think you'd like it, because everyone acts like the cartoon C:

Jimmy Timmy Power Hours were awesome.
+1.
And they had to get rid of awesome Jimmy Neutron for toilet joke Planet Sheen.
I went up to my room and headbanged for about 30 minutes after the last episode of JN aired. In fact, I ALMOST memorized the theme song, but now that I can't watch it anymore, I forgot most of it....
With a super powered mind, and a mechanic K-9 (BARK BARK!)
