Yes, people make pretty simple projects now and then. Just
do more simple projects get more views? One time, a project with NO SCRIPTS was front paged. ???
Sorry if i'm crazy again, but I see projects with dozens and hundreds of sprites and scrpits, and most don't get very many views.
And also, my projects (especially ones with over 100 scripts) get the following amount of attention:
ABOUT NONE.
????? how ????? does ????? this ????? happen ?????

i completely agree. i have never seen a no script project front-pages, but i know what you mean... was it at least an art project?
i have a great project ( http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/estorken/1783944 if anyone cares) with 28 sprites and 151 scripts, but it only has 26 views, counting me and my 4-5 friends.
i do not think you're crazy, i'm completely agree. i do not think it has to do with simplicity, so much as names, front pictures, and subject. for some reason very stupid and lame comedies seem to get more attention than well-thought-out games that took a lot of time, energy and skill to create. it annoys me.
i will now view your projects.

It is because those people who are popular for certain reasons can post anything and all the people watching their projects will view it. That's how.

Yea I agree. But most games get front paged that are very complicated, complex, has hard to draw sprites, has alot of scripts, but sometimes games with graphics manageable and with few scripts that are simple get front paged, that I agree to. For example, I have a 291 script and about 20 - 30 sprite game, and it has like what 10 views or less!

IMO scripts don't determine complexity, just compare this (1 sprite 8 scripts, but very complex) and this (55 sprites 56 scripts) to see why...
Anyway there are lots of complex projects out there on the front page, but yeah they don't dominate, but eh.
