BUmp. This is a great idea, we shouldn't lose it.

The only downside to this is most projects that arent viewed often are usually not the best/not interesting. Anything that looks interesting right when you put it on the site usually gets 3-10 views. Maybe if we did a top loved/views ratio list. If a project had 3 views and 3 love its it might get on for example. One with 20 views and 3 love its it wouldnt.
I agree , put me on the list

I would like that becuase my projects barely get any veiws. The most veiws a project by me has gotten is 8 (well 10 but I acidentally veiwed it on two different computers). But the point is sign me up!
You know this topic hasn't been posted in since 2008, right?

Yeah, old post. This is just random projects, minus the small percentage of projects that are "popular" now.
For helping this "nobody sees my stuff" problem, make it easier for those with similar interests and needs to get together, with a better tagging/group and requesting help/attention system.

I agree!
Only there is a possibility that the project is not really well done, like a blank project!

No.

I find this to be a good idea. I also agree with the project having to be on the website for at least one day. ^^
EDIT: Oh, the post was made in 2008..... I guess I'm a bit late. ;^^

Yes, that's a great idea! Maybe views ranging from 0 - 40?

^It's not a necropost if it's relevant to the topic and there's still stuff to discuss.
I'd be sort of embarrassed to find my project on a least viewed list, so I don't support.

What's the use really. The "newest projects" row seems to get projects enough views.
Here's how a "least viewed" system would work. So all the uninteresting projects that first were on Newest (and received no views due to being so) would get thrown into Least. Lets say they all have 0 views. So by the time one of them receives a view, it will no longer be "Least viewed" because it has more views (1) than the rest (0). So really a system like this will only gurantee 1 view for each project...

Usually like me would go to the project first and I would be the first viewer, so the system won't work for some people.

And, some people wouldn't even view the projects because they probably think they're bad.

yeah! great idea! but how would you choose least viewed since there are lots of projects with 0 views. but that's a good idea since when I 1st started scratch i got like 2 views on each project so it would make New Scratchers happy and not think scratch is impossible to get famous on.

Of course you'd be embarrassed, because your somewhat famous. What about the people who alway's get no views at all?
