Idea for 2.0: Home Page
I am suggesting a home page for 2.0. There would be a button that said "set home page", and you could choose what project that is there when you open Scratch instead of the cat. Vote here.

You can do that already: How to Change the Default Sprite

And he said project. So it wouldn’t even be an actual homepage, it would be a startup project.
Unless he is suggesting there be a startup similar to that of Stencyl.

As in in the Scratch program? Ah, but you can already do that too! Open up whatever you want to be opened when you open Scratch, shift-click the loop in the R in the logo, and select "save image for end-user" from the context menu.
