Lists

I really wish there was an easy way to alphabetize a lot of words...right now I'm using the-whiz's alphabetizer with some modifications for speed.  The problem is I'm using a list of over 6700 words, 6738 right now to be exact.  So while I'm waiting for it to be done, I was wondering what some of the longest dictionaries used on scratch are.

What's the longest list/dictionary on Scratch?

Re: Lists

I don't know the longest list on Scratch and I too really wish there was an easy way to alphabetize words. It would be very useful for many projects

No, a list someone made that contains words...like a dictionary?  You have to add them all manually.

Re: Lists

instead of a list, why not make it just the stage, a book with the words written on, then flip over the page with a noise?

Re: Lists

I suppose you could use a language like Java, C++ or Python to alphabetize them more quickly then add them to a Scratch list later, but that would only work if you didn't need to keep reorganizing them for some reason.

That would be a lot of sprites...

Re: Lists

No, It had to be a list, cuz it has to test if a word is in the list.
