I was really disappointed. Cars is one of my favorite movies, but Cars 2 was completely different from it. To me, the storyline was really predictable and similar to that of many other movies, and the movie lacked a meaningful message and didn't have a lot of heart (if that makes sense :b).

Also, according to the Disney Blog, those of you who see Cars 2 in 3D will also be seeing the first four minutes of The Lion King in 3D!! Whoa I don't know how well classic 2D animation will pan out into the 3rd Dimension, but it sounds cool! I hope that this applies to IMAX 3D showings of Cars 2 as that is how I'm seeing Pixar's latest film!

For those of you who may be seeing Cars 2 in regular format (aka- not 3D) you will not be seeing the Brave trailer as it is only running in front of the 3D showings apparently. However... It's now online! So pretty....

The only reason it got so low was because it was made by Pixar.

This movie would've been considered astounding and have rave reviews if it was a Dreamwork's.

Hopefully, you're not saying that Dreamworks is bad. Also, it may have lower ratings, but it's still in the top movies of the week.

I think Cars 2 is great, just by the trailer. I even know all the characters, now that I have the game. Question; is Holley Shiftwell british?

Hawian Vacation was cool, and so was this movie. I love the part when Mater says oh shoot and gatling guns come out and he says not that kinda shoot and mauls all the bad guys. ROFL!!!!!!

Really hoping for the DVD short to be Mater and Holley's date... If not, i have my own fanfic that i'm working on of it wink Probably more complicated than they would be able to do in a 5 minute short though XD

I think what they are trying to say is that Pixar is held to higher standards than Dreamworks is... probably because Pixar was the pioneer in its field and all that tongue

Yes, she's Brittish. She was stationed in TOWkyo as a part of the British agency so she could get info to any British agents that would be there such as Finn McMissile. To quote Wiki:

Yup. The man who voiced Doc Hudson, Paul Newman, died of lung cancer in 2008. Pixar didn't think it would be appropriate for him to be in Cars 2. (Though they still had Red, the firetruck). It's not really mentioned in the movie apart from a few lines between Mater and Lightning...

I saw it a while ago.

...and it was actually really good! I loved all of the action scenes. It was James Bond for kids! I trust audience reviews more than critics. big_smile

Oh, and I watched the Brave trailer in 1080p HD in full-screen with the volume turned up to the max. It was epic.
