i've tried clicking on the variables to change them so they have a scroll thing or so they look like boxes but then the next time i go to my project they are back up in the corner looking how they were before. how do you stop this? sad

Make sure to save with them showing.

Save the project with the variables showing in the proper place.

Put the variables were you want them, and then save the project.

Put the variable(s) in the place you want it to be. Just get a show variable bla bla. Click on that block and then it should show up then save.
