We're gonna have it all here. ALL OF IT.
In Pokemon Red Version, you kill your rival's Raticate
In episode 120 of the anime series: The Whistle Stop, When James' Victorybell is swallowing him, he muffles a bunch of random noises, when played backwards says “Leo Burnett and 4kids are the devil! Leo Burnett!” Many people, including myself, find this statement to be true
Episode 32 of the anime series: Tentecool and Tentecruel, was banned because in one particular scene, The crazy old woman character pulls out machine guns, and shoots the giant Tentecruel. Though this episode wasn't deleted from the theme, and is included in a VHS tape (which I own).
In one episode of the anime series: Beauty and the Beach, James wears an inflatable suit to give him large breasts, so he can win a beauty contest. In one scene, James squeezes them, and they puff up to two times their original size. James says "Maybe one day, you'll have a chest like this” This only ran two times in America before it was banned. Another episode with the same name, and plot was made, the only difference was that all the inflatable suit scenes were cut. This was also banned, but not before appearing in a VHS tape (I own this one too).
The Pokemon Jynx was considered to be a 'ratial steriotype' because when Pokemon first became an anime, Jynx's face was always black. Some people thought that because Jynx resembles a woman, Pokemon was making fun of black people with blonde hair, and big lips. Then came an episode titled: The Ice Cave. Jynx's face appeared purple. Everyone went completly crazy about this, causing this episode, and a couple other episodes like 'The Holiday HiJynx', with Jynx as a main focus to the episode, to be banned
There was an episode titled 'A Scare In the Air'. The episode's title was changed to 'The Spirit of the Sky' because some people thought it was a 9/11 reference
An early episode titled 'The Tower of Terror' was also banned because of it being another 9/11 reference. This episode was recently unbanned
There was an episode about Porygon, that gave nearly 600 kids in Japan seizures. The episode was (obviously) banned, and the Pokemon Theme had to be redone, so that the animations went slower. Strangely, they kept the scene from the banned episode, with Tentecruel smashing a tower, though it have recieved a lot of complaints about it being a(nother, yet again) 9/11 reference. Pokemon was cancelled for 4 months.
Apparently, Gengar is the shadow of Clefable.
Pokemon was originally 'Pocket Monsters' but the title was too simular to something called 'Monster in Your Pocket'. So it was shortened to 'Pokemon'
In Japan, Red and Green Version were the original Pokemon games. Blue Version was later released, including better graphics. In America, Green Version was never made.
The 'Pokerap' has a few errors in it. When it says Poliwrath, a picture of Poliwag is displayed. And when it says Graveler, a picture of Geodude is displayed.
Officer Jenny once called her Growlithe an Arcanine
Brock once said, that Water Pokemon were weak against Fire Pokemon.
In Pokemon: The First Movie, a trainer calls his Pidgeot a Pidgeotto, also Team Rocket call a Scyther, an Alikazam
The Pepsi Symbol is believed to be seen in Pokemon Platinum Version, When Giratina first opens the portal to the Distortion World, making it subliminal advertisement
How do I know all of this? Oh well, I'm sure there's more. Post some if you've got any...

Pokemon Black and White. Go to the Coffee shop walk one step in, turn around and walk one step towards the door. You can talk to the door!

There were three Pokémon games for the Sega Pico, a relatively unknown system.

Unknown fact? Not really (now that I've said it) but more of an Unown fact.
There are hidden frequencies in the original Lavender Town music from Pocket Monsters Red and Green. They are extremely high-pitched, so only children can hear them. Listening to them can cause a headache. This is known as Lavender Town Syndrome, however a more accurate term would be Lavender Town Headache. The other symptoms were all caused by paranoia, which is understandable (the music was very unnerving).
---
The move "Curse" was introduced in Generation 2, along with the Pokemon Unown.
---
Cubone, the child of the Marowak, was originally going to evolve into Kangaskhan. But Nintendo scrapped the idea, and left the code so nothing evolves into Kangaskhan. This is why Missingno evolves into Kangaskhan.
---
Missingno has five forms, the two most common being a backwards L-shaped block of pixels, and a ghost.
---
There are two articles on Bulbapedia for Missingno.
---
Ash's voice actor is female (much to the dismay of myself).
---
There is a glitch on Pokemon Blue (and probably Red as well) which allows the player to play as a female.
---
In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time it's possible to walk onto a building.
---
In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, at the Kecleon Market, the Kecleon are supposed to both be male. However, if you're exploring a dungeon they're female.
---
And that's about it.

This is a challenge I present to you all.
There is a "hidden superboss" in Pokémon Yellow. No, it's not Mewtwo, and it's much stronger. It's a trainer you can encounter through Method #3 of the Mew Glitch: Agatha Ultima. The Pokémon you use for the glitch must have a special stat of 246. Do the glitch normally, then you will encounter Agatha Ultima. Be warned, as she can easily pwn you.
Her Pokémon consist of:
Level 205 Dodrio
Level 205 Seel
Level 205 Pikachu
Level 205 Sedra
Level 205 Growlithe
Level 205 ゥ ( Z4 (A glitch Pokémon with glitch moves. It is very unpredictable.)
Sweet dreams, elitists.
Note: the prize for beating her is humongous. It's totally worth it.

Yes. as it turns out, the Pokemon Yellow cartridge
is actually connected to the secret underground Nintendo base 24/7 via uranium. As Ash and co. brutally murder Gamefreak President Giovanni, they wait for the signal of Algatha Ultima's defeat. The prize is Giovanni's Corpse......

*ahem*
Anyway, these DSi-only features include
~Video chat with the Xtransceiver (?) over Wi-Fi and local (Only DSi and maybe 3DS users can see video)
~Advanced Wi-Fi support in System Settings (yay for WPA2 support!)
~No ability to change Wi-Fi settings while in the game - you have to save and quit (DS and DS lite users can change these settings in game)
My favorite one is Advanced Wi-Fi support, because I neeeeeeed it. My router runs on WPA2 right now.

The five regional fairies represent the Chinese Wu Xing philosophy.
Wood=Celebi
Fire=Victini
Earth=Mew
Metal=Jirachi
Water=Manaphy
"Wood feeds Fire, Fire creates Earth, Earth bears Metal, Metal carries Water, Water nourishes Wood."
This cycle is known as the Generating Cycle. Other common words for this cycle include "begets", "engenders" and "mothers".
or
"Wood parts Earth, Earth absorbs Water, Water quenches Fire, Fire melts Metal, Metal chops Wood."
This cycle is known as the Overcoming Cycle. This cycle might also be called "controls", "restrains" or "fathers".

Interesting, especially since each one of the "fairies" is from a different generation...
