I think we need a unified currency. Like portals were last server. It would help inter-town trading.
Yeah, and we could still trade as well.
The problem with that, is how to get them. If we do, like before, mobs dropping them, then what about people who don't concentrate on mob killing, but instead on building or something.
Are there any like currency plug-ins which could fix that?

Hey, does anyone mind me making a Creeper statue with a sign saying "Welcome to Creepercraft" At the spawn? That is, when I get back from Vacation.
Oh, I forgot to mention, I'll be back on the 9th of June. (UK TIMEZONE)

That was fun. In the middle of night I tamed 4 dogs and then 2 zombies and a creeper started chasing me and I ran about and accidently dropped my sword, so I ran to the sea but fell in a big ditch in the sand. It was dark and everything happened quick so I was confused and didn't have time to get out. My dogs fell in and then the zombies and the creeper and another creeper I hadn't seen. I killed the first zombie then my dogs killed a creeper but the other exploded, killing the zombie and causing a sand fall which trapped 3 of my dogs. I quickly tried to dig them out but one didn't make it. I then had 3 dogs. I quickly got out and my dogs followed, but then I realised 1 dog was missing. I don't know how it died. :'(

ipodbiped, that would be for more of a creative server. This is a PVP/veryinfinitelysmallRPGsortakindamaybedunno server.

I think for a town/village etc. to qualify as one it should be like this:
Outpost
Requires 1 person and at least 1 building
Village
Requires 2-3 people and at least 2 buildings
Town
Requires 4-5 people and at least 5 buildings
City
Requires 6-7 people and at least 8 buildings
Country
Requires 8+ people and at least 10 buildings
---
The problem with that is it requires a lot of people for most things. Even towns would be hard. Maybe:
Outpost
Requires 1 person and at least 1 building
Village
Requires 2 people and at least 2 buildings
Town
Requires 3-4 people and at least 5 buildings
City
Requires 5-6 people and at least 7 buildings
Country
Requires 7+ people and at least 9 buildings
---
Something which would be fun is competing against other towns/villages/etc. to get the highest power.
A place's power would be determined on all its citizen's power levels combined.
You could also compete against place's:
Strength: This would be all the players' unarmed, archery, swords and axes skill combined.
Culture: This would be all the players' herbalism and taming skill combined.
Resourcefulness: This would be all the players' woodcutting, mining, excavation and repair skill combined.

And towns and above could have their own military of about 2 people who organise the place's defence (for example, walls, traps, high walls or cliffs to be climbed to get to the town), the places weaponry (they would create tons of weapons and armour incase there is a sudden attack), and they would also attack other places.

7000th view! By the way, there's already an underground town called bedrock base. But you could make another one of course.
Just posting this to keep track of my wolves and which to have funerals for and stuff.

Bones the 2nd: Death cause: trapped in sandfall

I lol'd at the last one.
Nice ideas werd, I'm going to maybe refine them a bit and possibly implement them.

I don't like wolves in multiplayer. a few people find a bunch of wolves and tame them, then that's the max number and there are no more wolves for anyone else.

My argument for /home:
1. It makes mining easier by letting you return when your done.
2. If you die or get stuck, you lose. game over. you can't get back. Or you may not ever be able to get back.
3. My suggestion is maybe allow us to warp to towns?
We NEED /home.

I like the additions to the main post.
