Yeah, another MC sever.
Everything checks out, but first, let me explain some things. I host this in VMWare, the guest OS being a pretty much untouched Ubuntu 11.04, except for all the stuff needed for the server. I use McMyAdmin for simplicity (I could use command line, but eh, i'm lazy). I've gotten all the port forwarding and firewall stuff done, I even checked it on localhost within my Win7 Host. Everything within VMware, Ubuntu and Win7 is set up right, including the Modem/Router combo we have. Yet, the port (being the default 25565) isn't accepting connections. I've checked online, worked on it for 7 straight hours (what a day lol), and still nothing.
I'm wondering if anybody here can help me.
Once this is running, then I shall give details and things like that. *name is subject to change*

Well, MC updated and I am away from the *server*, so I can't do much today. Nor is port forwarding working (help, anyone?). I'll work on it some more next week.
@MrMokey Sure, I'd like to have some help.

Buy a server.
I run mine with brohost and it limits some access but that's only the super techy stuff and aside from that it's great and easy to install plugins.

I'm cheap and have the technical know-how to set it up.
Something somewhere has a wrong number. The problem is trying to find what/where it is.
