My new game is finally ready!
Forum Tower Defense
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/BoltBait/1897019
I used all the graphics from the forum here at the Scratch web site, mixed in some bullets and towers for this new simulation of Desktop Tower Defense from HanddrawnGames.com.
I hope you find this challenging and fun!
The difference between this game and all other tower defense games on Scratch is that mine allows you to build your own maze. The creeps do not follow a predetermined path. YOU make the path!
Enjoy.
Some people have asked where the idea of this project came from and which code was used. This graphic should help answer those questions:
Of course, I also wrote a ton of original code.
I have a question for you... What maze do you find that works best?

Since my games are never "featured" on the front page, I need to rely on views and love its for exposure.
If you are a fan of my games, be sure to play this one often over the next week or so.
We need a lot more views if we are to make the front page. I know you can do it!
You can also help spread the word by adding this project to appropriate galleries and adding it to your favorites.
Remember, the more views I get, the more games I write!

Seriously, my games are too popular on their own to be added to the "Featured" line of the front page. The Scratch team doesn't like to feature projects with more than 10 love it's. I have enough fans that I easily pass that on the first day of release.
The whole reason I asked for views and love it's is so that I could possibly make it to the "Top Viewed" section. While cool, its not the same thing as being featured.

Interesting, I think that if I get about 20 more love-its by tomorrow, I'll be back on the front page under the Top Loved row.
Get busy, people! Let's get the word out! You can do it!

just a pointer, a view is for each person someone sees it, unlike the forums, you can view it many times and it still will go up. nice job on the game, though! best TD there is on scratch!

Hey everyone!
Just a reminder, if you haven't clicked "Love it" on this project yet, do it now!

And, if you have, THANKS... YOU'RE AWESOME!

Wow! Almost 200 love its! Will you be the 200th love it?
Anyway...
Here are a couple of screenshots of mazes that I've used:
Here is something I'm calling a "Trap double maze". The idea is to have two paths one slightly longer than the other. Then, when the last level of creeps are in the short section, seal it off--trap them!
Check out that score!
Anyway, what mazes are you guys using?

I finally broke the 50,000 point barrier! Check out the screen shot in my previous post.
I can't stop playing this game.
EDIT: 50,946 tonight.
