This is the death of the internet.

Idiots, that completely negates fair use. There is no way this bill is gonna pass until they make the proper exceptions. Even if it does pass it'll get thrown out because of fair use.
Also, Anonymous isn't gonna like this.

...I never liked lulzsec. They didn't have any goal other than to annoy people and make "lulz."
Anyway, only real way to contact Anonymous is to go on...that site and make a post about it. And I'm sure not doing it.

Yeah, I'm leaving this one to someone who isn't me

To my knowledge, a bill similar to this is proposed every year to induce fear. This bill is yet to past, but is instead more of a looming threat possessed by the government. I would not worry too much about it.

You can read about it here: http://www.opencongress.org/bill/112-s978/show

I can just imagine the mass raging if this ever passes. Which it won't.
Fear is a powerful tool.

I watch Let's Plays all the time! Especially Minecraft ones! D:
If this bill ever passes, there will be a gigantic riot of death from the nation's gamers!
I heard Notch has already said that he'll give full permission for videos of MC.
But why does America possess so much power over the world?

Cause the US invented internet.

Perhaps it only affects American copywritten material? So American companies like VALVe, Blizzard, and so on are affected, but not Nintendo or others. That would make sense.

I heard of this on Notch's blog.
This will destroy so many online businesses that run off of streams, videos, and walkthroughs.
The U.S. government wants to fix the economy, but we can not trade security for liberty and happiness. And besides, the government should focus on the problems with business and money, not the internet!

Then why propose the bill if most every company will do it?
Seems kinda stupid to make it, if everyone will say it's fine by them.

No. It will just be Americans, which I am one of. D:
If this bill gets past, I would be willing to bet $30 that the US government would be toppled over within a year. Gamers love their Let's Play videos.

It's an American law, so no.
