How stuff looks. For example, Final Fantasy X+ has very good graphics(but all FF games are freakishly boring to me).

The quality of how visual elements look. For example, a picture on the web. If it looks very good, the graphics are good. If it looks rubbish, the graphics are - you guessed it - bad. Usually, this term is only used in computer games and electronic media, not pieces of artwork by Davinchi etc.

The Nintendo DS doesn't have bad graphics. Just not as good as the Wii, PS3, etc.
And don't even think about insulting the original GameBoy. Sure the newer graphics would PWN, but they were really epic way back when.
