I've noticed that lots of people have .tk sites. I thought that .tk would only set up a domain name, and that you had to find a server for it. I don't think that everyone has their own server, so, if .tk is just a domain name, what server are you guys using? Or was I wrong about .tk?

.tk is only a domain name. I use weebly as my server but you know, whatever suits you.
My site Offline
I use tk DNS with Free Webhosing Arena, 000webhost, or Freezoka. (FZ has ads)

Ok. so, I could use Webs?
Yea sure! Just register and then click new domain name. You should be able to type the name of your website. Easy!

Nice. I'll make it with HTML, so there'll be no ads.

The .tk domain provider (dot.tk) just gives out free mask domains, which isn't optimal if you want the true site path displayed in the URL bar/want a custom favicon/want the page titles to actually show up/want to look professional in general. If you want an actual domain for a website, you're probably going to have to pay money. Some people use some sort of free co.cc domain provider (I think the address is co.cc
) and then put that as the domain when making a site with 000webhost. It's a short domain name, and it's an actual one, but it's not .com or anything.
