I really believe there is a size limitation on the image file as well.  Just wish I knew what that limit was!  I'll see if I can find out.

The file types accepted are jpeg, png, bmp and gif.  The max file size that will be accepted is 90800 bytes.  So, if your file type is one of those listed above and the size is under 90 kb, it should go up.  If it doesn't...you may have some odd variant of the file type that is causing trouble, try using an image editor to convert it to another one of the accepted file type and try again.  Be sure to clear the cache after every attempt.  Hope that helps!

Go to your "My Stuff" area and look up by the picture in the upper left area.  Click on the text "Change Picture".  Make sure that the picture you choose is smaller than 90800 bytes.

Are you having trouble changing your gallery pictures too?  Have you read the whole thead here and made sure:

  1. Your file is one of the accepted file types (jpeg, png, gif, bmp)

  2. The file size is less than 90800 bytes

  3. You clear the browser cache using one of the techniques recommended by MyRedNeptune

If you have tried all those and you are still having trouble, please let me know so I can report it to the development team.

Sometimes it takes a little while for it to load. Okay, a LONG while. Just wait, but if it sitll doesn't work after a day, i can't help. Sorry.

Someone told me it was 90kb or less... but that doesn't seem to work... I converted one of my pics to a 45kb size, and it did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Hi, I'm just another guy who's re-posting the SAME THING for my gallery. I'm sorry for being a burden, but the stuff posted here arent working for me. I'm confused.   

Hmmm...I have a bit of an argument:Bitmaps take up loads of space, so they're not the best things to use.  But even with a small PNG image file, my change isn't working.  I really don't want to clear my cache, either; my dad would probably kill me.  So I've got a problem.

90800 bytes is actually 88.67 kb.
