Ok, so I was training a team revolving around Leavanny when I had the idea for a tournament with a few special rules. Here they are:
1. All teams are composed of three Pokemon.
2. No ubers or ledgendaries. All other Pokemon are allowed.
3. All teams must be approved by me.
4. No hacked Pokemon. All Pokemon must be legitly obtained and trained.
5. No using a certain type just to beat an opponents team.
6. All teams must either be composed of a single type (ex: Blastoise, Walrein, Empoleon) or have a common theme (ex: Simipour, Simisage, Simisear).

The tournament will have several brackets with the participants selected to battle each other randomly. The size of the brackets will be determined by how many people join. The tournament will begin when all particupants have their teams ready, however if you decide not to participate in the tournament for whatever reason please notify me that you are dropping out so that the tournament will not be delayed on your behalf. If the majority of participants are ready and the remainder are not ready they may be eliminated depending on whether or not it is indicated that the teams are being trained and on how many participants there are.

I dunno what uber means but i'll get my Dragonite Hatoboh and Drifblim. Flying, in case you hadn't guessed. In other words, yes. Well... just as soon as I can fix drifblim's moveset (swallow AND spit up yet no stockpile. XD) Fun fact: did you know that no pure flying types exist? All of the "normal bird" pokemon (eg:pidgey, starly) are flying/normal, negating the fighting 1/2 flying type difference. Even the non-normal flying types (skarmory, murkrow and honchkrow) are normally susceptible to fighting types! The normal type was the result of the unused bird type being replaced with normal at the last second on pidgey and its evolutionary line. Gen 2 was coded right on top of gen 1, so the bird type coding was still there, but still normal type. It pretty much just stuck after that. Thus Starly, Mamepato, and pretty much every pokemon like that. So i'll join.

Well... this was supposed to be a tournament, but heck, I'll battle anyway. I don't think this should count towards the results of the tournament. We're probably gonna need an FC exchange. Mine's 1893 0484 5021.

I would prefer that there not be multiple flying types, is there any chance one of you could switch? I don't know the Japanese names of Pokemon, so I'll have to look up what you are entering with. Should be fine though. You should participate Joeisawesome, it doesn't take that long.

Ubers are legendaries, pretty much. So yeah, you can use those.

What is this Pokemon that you want to use? I just don't want to be facing a Dialga with my Leavanny. I'm not using Haxorus because I wanted to try out a new team that I planned, but it is still my best Pokemon so it's not like I never use it.

Whoah whoah hold up now. I thought you were elevated/lowered to level 50 in a pre-planned battle (aka not those random battles you can do in a pokemon center.) Also, my Hatoboh evolved! It's a Kenhallow now. (But my little brother is better than me at pokemon. He has a Garchomp, Ononokus, Dragonite, Kyurem, Zekrom, AND His level-80-something Daienkei. I lose to him near daily.) What battle style are we going to use? I would prefer single or rotation.

Yeah, but by training, I meant like, teaching my Pokemon new moves, giving them items, etc.
