Top "Stuff"

Quick and simple thing I've been thinking about for awhile, and as I'm currently at school I'll keep it short.

I've been noticing that on the front page under Top "Stuff"(viewed/downloaded/loved) it's typically the same people who keep getting their projects posted.(Yes scratch stars I'm looking at you) All I'm suggesting is first off change the current set to  a  so-called non-star top "stuff". e.g. Top loved would become something along the lines of Top Loved(Non-Famous) or however the scratch team would want to word it. Then add another set of top stuff for the famous people, like archmage or bosox. Doing this to me just allows the other users to get their projects on the front page for more than 3 seconds. I love playing the games archmage, bosox and everyone else makes, but I also would love a chance to see other peoples good games without having to do 100 searches.

Re: Top "Stuff"

I don't know about that. It seems like it would break the system. It would be like having a private section for the most popular scratchers which would pretty much guarantee that they get frontpage. I think it would be better if a limit was placed on how often a user could get frontpage.

Honestly I don't care how it's done, I just think there needs to be a way for more of the less known people to get projects on the front page besides for surprirse projects and most recent.

Re: Top "Stuff"

We're working on a feature that prevents the same person to be on different sections of the front page at the same time.
