Pixar says there working on Toy Story 4

What do you guys think about this? I personally think it's a terrible idea, toy story 3 ended perfectly, and this could ruin that. There's no need to make another one.

The first three were sorta... The same thing over and over. To story 4. Then escape from the toy shop.

Have you seen Cars 2? I mean it was a great film in my opinion, but I'm sure a decent part of deciding to do C2 was the toy sales (but not all of it- the story did come from John Lasseter the guy who directed the first one)
Anyway- A statement from an actor doesn't really confirm anything. He is probably talking about the various Toy Story shorts we're gonna be seeing coming from Pixar Canada. Besides, the Untitled project set for November 27, 2013 is going to be original at least... How far could they really be planning this out?

They already have officially said they are ending at 3, and making a short with the characters (should be during the previews before Cars 2)after that.
If they do make TS4, I have no idea what it could be about.

Exactly. When the ending to a film makes you cry in a good way, stop there. I don't think they would be able to top TS3 with another TS film (though they may outdo themselves on BRAVE...)

If they do, it might be great since they rock at sequels with Toy Story.
If it fails, it will ruin Toy Story's legacy, as any sequel couldve done.
