If this is what happens when a troll sends an email, what happens to you when you spill a can of soda?
OMG...
Someone here is INVISIBLE! And has TELEKINESIS :OOOO
Just calm down. Go get a glass of water, sit down, play some Pokemon Black or something, and relax.
Just sign off Scratch and wait until the next day

Definitely not the Scratch Team, because that's not the correct IP. Finally, there's something we can work with.O_O
This isn't good. But you're right - that happened to my email last year. No one hacked it - they just sent it from my email's name.
So weird though. Who would do this and why?Who knows?
Commercial spammers do something similar - I get e-mail messages from friends but it's all commercial spam sent without my friend's knowledge; basically, if you have the e-mail address of a person, there's always the possibility of someone using it to sends spam of some sort, no real hacking required.
I think this is what happened here. If it was a serious hacker, I'm surprised they didn't send e-mails en masse.
But what about that email that three people (me, Scratch_Yoshi, and Miss_Webgal) recieved that said that DaGamez would take over scratch? The peson is probably using this trick to prank all of us.

Read what I said?
Seems like a Forums exclusive hacker impersonator.
That for some reason had something against you.
Nothing fits together if we were to assume that it's out of vengance. That means that this is just for a scare.

The process is a heck of a lot easier than it looks. I could even do it, all I just need is a forum that allows e-mail capability and doesn't require e-mail confirmation.
Hence, again, the need for the IP address to find a clue as to who is pulling this off.

He expected you to post about it, I'd think. It would then cause others to panic.

Actually, who emailed the ST about this? I did. (dont' if you haven't yet)

Therefore, it's just a smart troll.
Problem solved let's go.

We should calm down and foil the troll's plan by doing nothing.
Litterally nothing. Don't even post
Well, I need to do homework. Nice being here for another troll attack. Now I can say "I was there".

I think this thread has otherwise run it's course.
There's more than one way to contact the Scratch Team other than through help@scratch.mit.edu. I already sent in a report about this, so let's just wait until someone from the ST comes and sorts this all out.
