This may spoil you if I explain, but read this if you want.

So anyway, GLaDOS loves testing you and she dosn't stop, so on one part of the game, Wheatley breaks you out of GLaDOS' test chamber and GlaDOS is trying to kill you, so you shut of GLaDOS' neurotoxin tank and make lots of defective turrets. Then when you find GLaDOS, she tries to kill you again with turrets and neurotoxin, then when she fails at killing you, you hook up Wheatley to GLaDOS' body. Then when wheatley starts bringing you up to the surface, he brings you back down because he says it feels really good being in the body (this is the start of him being evil), then he starts getting more evil after he pounds you into a pit with potato GLaDOS.

I still blame GLaDOS because she made Wheatley hate me :-(
At that part I was yelling at the game "NO! NO NO NO WERE BEST BUDS FOR EVER NOOOOOO!"

I actually think my very favorite character is the little oracle turret. he was stuck inside GLaDOS' vital apparatus vent, which she uses to get rid of garbage, and you later see him on the incinorator, or "turret redemption line". If you pick him up, you earn the "no hard feelings" achivement. He also gives you hints. I just MELTED when he said "I'm different" :C

He turned evil because he was in GLaDOS's body, and GLaDOS was evil, so if he was in her body, he would turn evil.
