Why is flash running SLOWER on this project?

Usually flash makes things buggy when it runs faster than presentation mode, but for this game, flash barely crawls through the scripts... it's very discouraging.

well, flash is very different from java or squeak (the engine used to make Scratch projects). It's just a function that flash doesn't recognize. hope this helps, even if just a little.
