what does inb4close mean? It seems like fancy talk for 'BANHAMMER TIME!' I don't really know

Re: Inb4close?

It means "I posted before this topic got closed".  Basically it means that that person thinks the topic will be closed really soon.

Re: Inb4close?

inb4 is usually used before the obvious happens in a thread. In this example, inb4 close might be used when a bad thread is posted and it's pretty obvious that it'll be closed.  tongue

Re: Inb4close?

All the "inb4" posts are essentially spam.  They do not add anything useful to the conversation and they are not helpful to the original topic poster.    Let's put a stop to the practice and continue treating people's topics in a helpful and respectful fashion.

We can certainly try.  It came from nowhere...and it can just go back there  smile

It all comes down to respect.  It's not respectful to the original poster to clutter up their topic with posts that don't add useful information.  If you really think the topic should be closed, just use the Report button and don't bother to post at all.

There are just a few people doing this "inb4" fad and I'd just like to ask them to please stop.

Re: Inb4close?

What if you say something like:

inb4lock
But seriously, though, all you have to do is whack Bowser with a FALCON PAWNCH and you win F4nt4sy Fin4l.
