All of the other ones I've used said "no online gaming sites" and stuff... You can make subdomains, right?

I can pretty much do anything that one could do with their domain, so yes.  I pay about $60 a year for it, so   tongue .  This is a real website, so we can put anything on it  tongue  (in the law of course)

Yeah, to even begin doing that you are going to have to install KM. There is no way to easily understand it without seeing it in action. Only people who can do some php/sql should tinker with it, you can learn these things @ w3schools.com. Even just installing KM and using the admin pannel can let you make something good, you can generate monsters, let users fight each other. Modding it for pokemon parties and moves may be hard.

Hi, I am Archmage coder extraordinaire. I do Scratch, pascal, java, php, html, AS2 and AS3. Leave me a message if you want coding advice. Also check out my personal website, lots of good stuff about web development, Flash, and Scratch (v1 and v2) !

Actually, it's quite easy. It's just the mail activation code is the hard part.

Ummm, no, the email activation is quite easy, its more or less a cut and paste script. Designing the RPG elements gets in to real programming.

The mail has random codes that aren't supposed to be there.

Re: Pokemon Scratch-The MMORPG

If you are talking about KM, everything in those scripts were put in for a reason. If its too much hassle I think you can do without mail activation.

1. To slow the account making process
2. To better verify
3. to send them emails

Re: Pokemon Scratch-The MMORPG

Just get it working first, email activation would be a good thing but not at this point. And you have to learn some php to play a contributing role in this. Spend some time each day at w3schools.com

Re: Pokemon Scratch-The MMORPG

It is now okay to sign up, but please note that it is not encouraged for the game is not yet at a playable level.

However, soon, gbear will upload the test page, which means you can test all the new features we are having.

Notice: WE ARE STILL accepting new members!

Re: Pokemon Scratch-The MMORPG

I think we have enough HTML/CSS programmers right now, but what we really need is JS/XML/AJAX/PHP/MySQL programmers. Mainly AJAX (which is JS and XML). Learn AJAX and come back.

Re: Pokemon Scratch-The MMORPG

Bump.

I might be less inactive on this because I'm also working on CWT (coolwebthings.zxq.net) and since I got an iPod touch, my computer time cut down by half because I'm playing it.
