Love It = Favorite

I think that if you hit the love-it button then the project should automatically go into your favorites, I think that if you love a project then its one of your favorites

Re: Love It = Favorite

For some people, they are the same. For others, a love-it is more easily put, while  favorites are the extreme best in that users opinion that they can use for future reference, etc.

If it is like you say the favourite projects section in My Stuff will be full of projects.

Re: Love It = Favorite

Why not just do a account settings page with a check box that says "If I hit Love It, also make this a Favorite" - that way both sides can get what they want.

Re: Love It = Favorite

I find that my 'Favourites' tend to be the projects I can learn most from, rather than ones that I 'love'

Re: Love It = Favorite

That's an interesting idea, but I press "Love It!" on many projects that I don't technically love  tongue ; therefore, I would have thousands upon thousands of favorites. I would change it to "I like it" and "I love it" because loving something does sound like it would be your favorite.

Re: Love It = Favorite

I'm with fullmoon on this question...I press "Love It" on lots of projects that I don't expect I will be using again, just because I like the way they are done.  And sometimes I use Favorite on projects I may not love, just because they have a bug that needs to be tracked down or something.  So, to me, they are not equivalent.

Re: Love It = Favorite

I favorite projects that I want easy access to, and I always love-it my favorites. But if I love-it, I don't always favorite it. I'm also a sucker for mouse recording projects  tongue
