Are you having a problem with the website or with the Scratch software?
From your description it sounds like the resolution of your screen is lower than 1024x768. if this is the case, you need to increase the resolution to at least that.
Maybe you could post a screenshot of your image so we can understand better. Here is an explanation of how to do a screenshot: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/196253

I am sorry alejandro, I think we don't understand what exactly is the problem.
That's why I think if you upload the project and tell us what is that its not working or if you take a screenshot and show us what exactly is failing that would be very useful.

1. Right-click your desktop.
2. Go down to properties.
3. Click the Settings tab in the new window.
4. Increase resolution to at least 1024 x 768. More is better, but might not work.
Hope this works for you.

alejandrofalca: save the screenshot as an image file (JPG, PNG or GIF) and post it on the forums or send it to the Scratch Team by email to scratch-feedback[at]media.mit.edu
Make sure the screenshot shows the problem you are having because we are all having a difficult time understanding your description of the problem and we want to see exactly what you are seeing.

That happens to me sometimes too. It's just your internet connection being slow.
