.bmp not supported

I made a background via Scratch to upload to scratchresources but it said that it doesn't support .bmp. However that is the format in which the Scratch program saves background files... Please fix this. I had to change the bitmap file to a PNG to upload it...

PNG is better anyway, but I agree; they should support bitmaps.  tongue  (Assuming you're correct and they don't. I don't use Scratch Resources.)

I know .PNG is better but its just that backgrounds made in Scratch are saved in .BMP format  tongue

In most cases, uploading .bmp files to websites are a hassle; in cases that accept .bmp file uploading (like Photobucket), such files are often get converted into a .jpeg instead.

It may be annoying, but I think it's better to convert to .png to prevent the issue of quality loss here.  wink
