Sweet! Re: for those of you who don't like your gallery's name with numbers, you can just change the name to something else without the numbers, as long as it's unique

It's great!! But the scratch club is not open to me.

I like the new gallery system *much* better. I changed the "Names Projects" gallery to accept from anyone, and then added all projects tagged with "name" to the gallery.
If you create a name project, or find one on the scratch web site, add it to the gallery!
I'll occasionally look for ones that have been tagged but not added to the gallery.
The notification I was sent about my project being added to a gallery was garbled.
It did not say which gallery and the link to the project was broken.
It would be nice to be able to seach for
has_tag("name") and NOT in_gallery("Names Projects")
as this would make it much easier for me to update that gallery. Are there any plans for an "advanced search" page?
It would also be nice to have an authorized contributors list that is different from "friends".
For example, such a list would be very useful for clubs and school groups.

You no longer need to invite people to your gallery---you can pick the projects you like and add them to the gallery yourself. Owners can now have complete control of what projects go in their galleries!

Oh...this new system has disadvantages now that I look closer into it. Scratch operators, I have somehow joined a gallery which I did not suscribe too. Also, I cannot unsuscribe from that gallery, which I find a problem. If people send out gallery requests, the person would be forced to join. This creates a problem because some people wouldn't want to be part of that gallery and also because loading the "my stuff" page will take a longer time, making many people frustrated. Hope u guys can fix it soon.

I don't use the Gallerys much but ok
Good idea for the Gallery name thing adding the number
Oh and by the way andresmh are you like the operater of Scratch or go to MIT cause you appear on almost everybody's buddy list and have posted a lot of stuff

1 prob: when i try to add something to a gallery, nothing happens when i click on the check mark box or the gallery name! i have tried my own and other gallerys that i didnt make! what am i doing wrong?
more people like the letter B than the letter A!

beny: could you send a screenshot of your problem and the version and name of your browser? Thanks! By the way, if you go to a project and then click on "add to gallery" it will show a list of galleries. You can click on the gallery where you want your project to be added. Nothing more. Maybe it did add your project but you were expecting some kind of message? We should add that actually.
