I think you should've warned people about shooting :P

Its called WAR- D-DAY! I'm not exactly a great historian, but I think I might have switched the Americans and the Nazis. I did not mean to be racist, but it was part of history, and would have made a great game.
NO. It got deleted for a reason that the Scratch Team still has not addressed.
Thanks for the recommendation though.

Perhaps. Is that not allowed? But there are plenty of other games that do that too! Why me?!
Besides, in the Call of Duty lobbies, all you hear are little 10 year old's voices talkign about quickscoping. They can knife and quickscope people, but can't play a scratch game?
Please Scratch Team, revert it back to what it was!

I can understand where you would be upset since you clearly spent a lot of time on your project. I'll forward your concerns to the help desk for you this time. If you have an issue with a Scratch Team decision (such as this one) in the future, please use the Contact Us form or email to help@scratch.mit.edu.
Also, please don't single people out by name in your forum posts and make accusations. That's a quick way to end up in a flamewar. Again, if you are having an issue with another Scratch user, you can flag their comments or contact the Scratch Team.
Finally, please make sure your forum posts use language that is suitable for all ages. Thanks.

Thanks for the response, Paddle. I really appreciate it.
I posted here because I couldn't find the stuff ANYWHERE. I tried to contact you guys, but I couldn't find it.
That anonymous Scratch user admitted to flagging my project. I'm not sure if he was joking or not, but my project got removed anyway.
Thanks Paddle

i dont get the whole deal with killing games with blood being "innapropriate". theyre not real people. they are little cartoon men moving across the screen.

I request that you revert it back to the original game. It is frustating to not only have a decent project get WIPED off the front page in seconds, and it is even more frustrating that the smart people in college that I look up to, think that shooting a little person is innapropriate.
Please, sir. I plead to you. REVERT MY GAME!
Biscuits I spent 7 hours worth of time on that. Please, give me my time back.
Request accepted!
Scratch is an all ages site ( 7+, but I've known a few 5 year old Scratchers ), so we do have to have limits on the amount of violence in projects. Think of it this way - if the mom of a 7 year old goes to the front page of Scratch and sees projects with a lot of violence and blood, are they really gonna let their 7 year old kid hang out on Scratch? We want to encourage kids of all ages to program, so we have to have limits on what we can allow on the site.
But we checked this one out, and thought it over again. While it is somewhat violent we decided it wasn't so bad that it should be removed (and it's clear you did put a lot of work into it). So we apologize for removing it, and have restored it.
It will, however, still be marked "Not for Everyone" - which means it won't show up on the front page or on the projects feeds, for reasons described above. You can read more about why we created the "Not for everyone" status on this thread.
Scratch On!
p.s. If anyone reading this in the future has their project removed and wants to appeal that decision, feel free to use the contact us link on the bottom of every page to write us. We're always willing to explain our choices.
