I can't save my projects!

No matter where I save my projects a window pops up saying "Save Failed: Is the folder read-only?" I can save with with other programs but not with scratch in the exact same place. I also can't upload but I found a way around it by copying the save file to another computer. Any ideas of why I can't save?

Thanks for the help.

Re: I can't save my projects!

Usually when you get that message it's one of a couple of things:

1.  Permissions problem - try saving to the desktop, most people have permission for that area.

2.  Out of disk space - check how much space you have left on your hard drive.  Or save to a removable disk such as a USB drive

3.   Attempt to write to a removable disk or a network drive that is no longer mounted

That's all I can think of at the moment.  Anybody else have any ideas?

Re: I can't save my projects!

I did try to save to the desktop that didn't work.

I am fairly sure there is enough space the computer is fairly new. Although I will check and see.

I also haven't tried saving in a location that isn't mounted. I will try that too.

Thanks
