Hi. I'm kinda new (around 1 month), and I have a question. I got my friend into scratch, and he went out and made himself a page. But he told me that when he tried to download it, it said "This is not a free program". Help!

It is a free program. I'm not sure why that message would appear. I would have your friend try it again and make sure he is using the official download page

Solid? I'm guessing you don't want any of your sprites to pass through. Try this:
<when green flag clicked><forever><if><touching[ <Wall><move( -1 )steps><end><end>
Place this on the sprites you want to be affected by the wall. And replace <Wall> with the sprite name of your wall. This will cause a sprite to be effectively "pushed" back a step when touching the wall. Sadly this is about the best you can do with the current Scratch code.
