Simple Mode Please

I've been reading lots of great ideas in this section but a lot of them seem a bit "advanced" to me. If you were to bring them into Scratch would it be possible to retain a "Simple Mode" so those of us who are using it with younger children could keep it very much at the level it is now (until they get used to it then they could shift to an "Advanced Mode".).

Re: Simple Mode Please

My "Attempt" script is simple for a jumpscript, and I went along happily for 7 months using very simple scripts!!! Any of my early projects would be an OK example, because I went through the same thing!!!

Re: Simple Mode Please

Well most of the newer features are probably a bit too advanced for young children but they aren't taking the simple blocks out of the program. Those who don't understand how to use the new features can just ignore them.
