Drums and piano don't play
[blocks]<play drum( number )for( number )secs>[/blocks]
[blocks]<play note( number )for( number )secs>[/blocks]
They don't do anything anymore! This is frustrating!

They work fine for me. Have you ensured that other sounds in Scratch work to make sure it's not a problem with something else? If other sounds work, perhaps you've set the note to not last long enough.

It's likely your SW Synth volume is turned down.
To turn it back up, look for the icon that looks like a speaker in the system tray (the thing with all the tiny icons, on the taskbar). When you find it, double click it, and a bunch of sliders should pop up. Look for the one labeled "SW Synth" and crank it up to max. Now try it again - 99% of the time, this solves it.
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
