Have you ever read it?

The DOF in the image doesn't look good. Just selecting and blurring doesn't work.
I don't know what DOF is, but I meant to make it look like that
It goes with the story

(please don't start an argument about me never reading it. i don't feel in the mood)
I haven't even written it yet!
And I don't start the argument, I point out an error, and you deny it

Then stop pointing it out.
Meanwhile, I'll try to stop making mistakes.

Tripping the Light Fantastic (or the Mene Incedent)
Prologue
Man, it sure is hot here in Arizona. Folks down here getting their groove on just don't have a chance of holding out for a marathon. We have to wait until times are colder. Still, there are brave souls who just can't hold in their love of dance until winter, and there they are, clomping wearily around like mannequins whose strings were cut. This is Mene, Arizona. The Home of the Light Fantastic Dance-Off. This is where it all went downhill.
Part I
It was darkening on Day 17 for the Atkins family. They were allowed a 45-minute break in a couple of hours, then they had to dance again. Or shuffle their feet around aimlessly, whatever you'd like to call it. They were about to close their eyes and slump to the floor, defeated, when they heard a loud noise. It sounded like a feather the size of San Fransico falling down on the desert.
Instant panic.
The manager shoved/body checked the Atkinses off the floor. He ran around, locking all the windows and doors like his life depended on it, while the Atkinses left stage right.
They didn't know it then, but his life did depend on it.
