I was trying to download Easytoon and Panther and couldn't open either of them...
I've Googled it and don't understand the instructions...

So does that mean unless I have specific software, I can never use Panther on my MacBook? D:

There's a program called Wine.

Exactly why I don't like Macs, many programs nowadays are designed for Windows (not saying it's a good OS though...). IIRC there's a program called BootCamp which lets you emulate other OSes like Windows, just find a pirate copy of XP or whatever and you'll be done.

Download WINE to your Mac. That's how Spore works off of Windows.

Linux programs work on Macintoshes because both operating systems are UNIX-based.

You CAN'T run .exe files on a mac. There might be a .exe to .app converter out on the web, though. If you're desperate (this one was under the section in my mind labelled DO NOT TRY), you could use the Boot Camp Assistant that comes with all Macs, which permanently adds a Windows user to your computer, but that means that you can get viruses of all kinds, so, as I said before, it should only be under the section DO NOT TRY.
