This is cyber Issues, every week I will look into something going on in the dark depths of the world wide web (www for short) that has something to do with internet crime, privacy, inttelectual property, or cyber ettiquet and if I can find one I may link a brainpop vid. or some other vid. to go along with it. I hope you enjoy it:
Let's face it Google can be very helpful in searches, math (it has a calculator), and much more! But do you know about what happens on the inside of google when you enter your search into the search bar? Well guess what? IT'S LOGGED! They have your I.P address, what you search for and much more stuff that they DON'T need to know they used to keep it forever but due to laws on internet privacy rights they lifted that to 7 months but still it's a long time to keep information they don't need, right?
so how do we stop them from knowing more about us? you must be asking
well there are many options you can:
1. regularly clean out your cookies and search history
2. stop using google
3. tell them to delete any log's they have on you
4. or find more information online (try searching "is google evil", then you will find the solutions in articles most likely)
tune in next week for another cyber issues

yeah I know that but I just think that they should only keep logs for up to 3 days at most that way they can keep the info that causes harm and share it with athorities while keeping us anonymous and worry free

Jeez, Google is not evil. Yes, some of the stuff they do is slightly dubious, but they don't mean harm. Not using Google is a completely awful idea and it's pointless.
