First Person shooter
Frames per second.
This isn't going to create a conversation. It's probably going to get locked.

Foot* per second? Federal Protective Service?
* I mean "foot" as a unit.
EDIT: By the way, I thought of "frame per second" first. I have no idea what first person shooter is.

I've forgotten first person shooter (thanks coolboy2009 for the reminder), so I think of frames per second.

What's funny is that most people think of a First Person Shooter as a game where you have your players point of view (You know, you see through their eyes kind of). That's not what it is by definition. By definition a FPS (First Person Shooter) is any videogame where you play as a character with a gun that fires at others. That's what it is.

I thought of first person shooter first, which is strange considering I've only played one once for 5 minutes at a party.

Actually, a first-person shooter is seen through the eyes of the character you're playing as. That's why it's called a first-person shooter, because the perspective is from the first-person. Otherwise it's a third-person shooter.
