I figured out that my bunny is really overweight. She's a female adult netherland dwarf and she weighs-ready?-4 pounds. Any suggestions to help her? I'm such a bad mother. DX
I LOVE HER SO MUCH!

What do you feed her? Does she exercise? (.I think I spelled that wrong)

We exercise her sometimes, but she never wants to come out of her hutch, so not often. But my dad made this door thing (Too lazy to explain) so we can get her out easily! I was thinking I could put her harness on and take her for a walk. (She has a leash and a harness,
)
And we feed her pellets. I think they're Bunny 16 brand, if that helps.

There's no such thing as bunny steroids, but if there were, I wouldn't give 'em to her anyway.
No bunny/daughter of mine is going to take drugs XD

It's usually not so much the kind of food than the amount. If your rabbit is still healthy in other aspects, it's probably fine for it to eat that brand. So just ask your vet what a good amount of food per day is

A long time ago I got the class hamster for the summer and he was EXTREMELY fat. His name was President hamster lol. Anyway I did some research and found out our class was feeding him ten times the amount of food they should have been feeding him! So anyway, I gave him the right amount of food and after a while he could run instead of just waddling.
idk i just felt like saying this story.
but anyway I suggest you do some research...altough I bet you already have...

I have. She's overweight. But I'm excersizing her and my dad said he could build a little thing for her to run around outside safely, so I don't have to pick up her poop every time.

Sounds like you have a problem with overeating.
How much does it usually eat per day?
(I only read the first post so sorry if you've already said it)

No. These kinds of rabbits can get to like 2.5 pounds. And she hasn't shed her huge puffy winter coat yet
