Re: Titles or Sequels You Would Like to See on the 3DS or Wii U

Picross 3D is the best game ever.

Yawn, another boring text signature. I should really make something better.

I think that was just a port of Skyward Sword.

OR, it could be The Legend of Zelda: The Lampshade of No Real Importance.

Don't you mean 'Of No Real Significance?'

Re: Titles or Sequels You Would Like to See on the 3DS or Wii U

I want a 2.5D Megaman title for 3DS.

I am also interested in Luigi's Mansion 2 and Mario 3DS. And Megaman Legends 3.

No, that's only for Wii.
The Zelda seen for Wii U at E3 was only a tech demo, actually.

I thought it was "Zelda 3: Another quest to kill a pig and obtain a piece of triangular cheese."

Re: Titles or Sequels You Would Like to See on the 3DS or Wii U

I don't know if I'm going to get a Wii U...at first, the premise of Mario and Zelda in HD was enough to blow my mind, but as soon as it has started, the nagging doubts started. I heard it was going to be as powerful as the PS3 and Xbox 360 (if not a bit more); isn't that sad? For Nintendo's new console to be as powerful as the 5 year-old consoles of their competitors?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Released only one year after the Wii, both the PS3 and Xbox were superior in all aspects, save price and accessibility for non gamers. However, in 2010 Sony and Microsoft finally added on to their consoles the one thing the Wii had over the PS3/360: motion control. This, combined with slow Wii sales the past few years, led Nintendo to start developing a new console. One thing I have always respected Nintendo for is their strong bench of first party titles. Mario, KIrby, Metroid, Zelda...however, the Wii did have one drawback: Nintendo was so focused on casual gamers with titles like Wii Sports and Wii Fit, that they forgot their most loyal customers/fan base: the core gamer. Besides the fact that they were making games like Wii Fit and Mario+Sonic at the Olympic Games, the Wii was plagued by horrible third party games. I suppose, THQ is mostly to blame, as well as the fact that the main demographic of Wii gamers are young children. A exec form THQ said in an interview that they would not be making 'hardcore' games for Wii (and went on to say things like "the Wii is a nightmare for third parties"). So...this same THQ is also the publisher for the random kiddie stuff like this and this.. These games which you can usually tell are really horrible games thrown together to tie into some kid's movie or TV show. This isn't Nintendo's fault, well it kind of is, for them trying to get kids and casual gamers to play Wii. They succeeded in their goal, so publishers like THQ make endless kid games like Spongebob and Barbie (only for wii/ds), instead of games like Saints Row, and Warhammer 40,000.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK, so now that my Wii rant is over, I'm back to the Wii U. Like I said up top, I have doubts about this console. It's just a more powerful Wii in HD. But then, PS3's are super mega powerful PS2's, and Xbox 360's are more powerful xbox's. But what I'm really not sure about, is third party support. Will Nintendo stand by and let publishers choose whether or not to make 'hardcore' games, while they just stand aside and release the required Mario/Zelda/Kirby/Metrioid game every few years? I hope not. At E3, they announced that more publishers like EA and Activision are backing them up. Then again, so is THQ. However, I heard that (off the top of my head) that games like Battlefield 3 will come to Wii U. This is the sort of game that would have never come to the original Wii, whether it was because of the majority of Wii gamers being kids, or because Wii is not a powerful enough console.

Minecraft on the Wii U would be totally awe inspiring. So would Duck Hunt 3D. Personally I want 3D Pokemon battles, maybe something like Battle Revolution that could read the inserted B/W crad and use it's Pokemon in a wireless battle with another person.

Naah. I'd go for Pac- I mean Antinamcoman (peitions), where the Nintendo logo is the eater, and Namco logos for the coins!

To me, it looks as if Nintendo has gotten their third party support back. Did you see Nintendo's E3 press conference? did you see the president of THQ? hope you did.

Not sure if I will get a Wii U. It doesn't even play DVDs or BLU Ray Disks. I mean, C'mon Nintendo. The PS2 played DVDs for crying out loud.

My gaming system can't do something it's not expected to?  yikes  I'm not buying.

But seriously, WHO CARES if Nintendo has thrid-party developers? Do I want to play a quality in-depth Zelda adventure or Bratz 3D just because Nintendo decided they need to be nicer to the idiots bringing us Barney The Musical: On Ice: The Video Game.

Cause that's what most of them will give us (not all of them though).
