Hello! Thanks for reading!

If you are not a part of this team, you might want to exit out right now. This will seem very boring to you if you're not involved. That, and this will probably not make sense to you.

Okay, so the Scratch Helper Team is all built up and ready to go! Scroll down to see your username and read what you have to do:

SILVERSHINE - Okay, you are the one who makes this all happen. Without you, the rest of the team would be clueless. When a new Scratcher joins, you send a message to: wmays, undefeatedgames, murpho, wulfmaster, and me. You watch their work to see if they're doing what they're supposed to. If they forget to do their jobs, give them a polite little reminder. And if they continually don't do what they're supposed to for a VERY long time, ask them to do their work or quit the club. Just remember to be polite about it all. smile

WMAYS & UNDEFEATEDGAMES - You two have chosen the jobs of an encourager. When your Boss (silvershine) sends you a note with new Scratcher's names, go to their projects and reply with encouraging words! Remember, you're not reviewing it, you're just telling them what you liked about it. If you find errors, you can politely say how it can be improved. "I really loved it, but found an error: the green aliens can't shoot." DO NOT say: "There were tons of errors. You need to fix it." Bring out what you liked in it, what could be improved on (Maybe you could...) and always end on a positive note! And please don't write one-word comments like "cool" or "awesome." I don't mean to set up a whole lot of rules for you, but we want to do our best to make new Scratchers feel welcome.

MURPHO & WULFMASTER - You are the helpers: meaning, you make tutorials for the newbies to look at, so that they're not clueless. Make them for simple things like a drawing game, or things like that. Once a tutorial project is posted, send a link to the new Scratchers (you will get their names from silvershine) with a note like: "Do you want to know how to make [insert]? Here's a little tutorial: [insert link]. " Don't make it like this please: "You don't really know how to make good projects, so look at my tutorial please [insert link]." Try your best to make the projects understandable, and if the newbie has any questions, be happy to answer them. After all, you are helpers. And if you find that the other helper has a tutorial on something you have one on, please do not argue with each other. Just delete yours. smile So, your job is pretty simple but important.

Should I comment on all of the members projects so they get a notification, or should I post here?
Also, it would be cool to have a list (using [quote ] and [/quote ] except without the spaces after quote) saying if a team member is busy helping someone out or available to help out a new person.

Why not start with simple things, like what is what on the Scratch website. As for the Scratch program, what about a tutorial on moving a sprite with the arrow keys?

Also, when you make tutorials, it might be a good idea to put them all in one gallery that you can link new Scratchers to.

It might be a good idea to keep it here... that way there wouldn't be a ton of different posts about the same thing. Or you could just give a link to the post with the job list, that would work to.
